Our Hunting Country

The Minehead Harriers are extremely fortunate to have such welcoming and supportive landowners.

A significant proportion of the Minehead Harriers hunting country belongs to the National Trust who welcome trail hunting and many other recreational activities on their land.

The Minehead Harriers trail hunt on National Trust land by licence issued annually, all must comply with the licence terms and conditions.

The remainder of the country is hunted by kind permission on the individual landowners.


The Minehead Harriers Hunting Country covers a range of terrain from open moorland, to forestry, to pasture incorporting such well-known places as Dunkery Beacon, Webbers Post, Horner Woods, Selworthy and North Hill.
